The shoreline directly in front of the RV sites and restaurant is fairly steep, so we recommend these access options for our guests:
Access By Foot: Walk 2 minutes north along the road to a calm, flat inlet (Doney Creek), perfect for lake entry, fishing, and launching a kayak/canoe/SUP. Or, walk south along the lakeshore 3 minutes to a rocky spot with a gentler slope.
Access By Vehicle For Non-Motorized Boats: Drive 30 seconds north to the Doney Creek inlet mentioned above where vehicles can unload a kayak/canoe. Or, drive 1 minute south to another calm inlet for lake entry and kayak/canoe launch. Neither place has parking, services, or can support a large boat launch.
Access By Vehicle For Motorized Boats: Drive 5 minutes north across I-5 to the Antlers Public Boat Ramp
(not to be confused with the private Antlers Resort). Or drive 5 minutes south to the Sugarloaf Public Boat Ramp
